French food is thought of as one of the most pretentious foods; but here it is well prepared, but also just delicious. The restaurant was started by Chef Daniel Boulud, a famous chef who's work is enjoyed by many in his restaurants all over the world. The restaurant is beautiful; with a curved ceiling that gives it a cavern like feel. The decor seems to have the theme of organic and natural. This is from the light colors, wooden tables, with twine details on the walls. It also gives a modern, fast ambiance with the hidden light fixtures, art, and sleek details all around. It's location is also wonderful because of it is in a prime location of a row of restaurants right across from Lincoln Center. The service was exceptional. They made you feel like a priority and they were so knowledgeable about their products. They were very kind and welcoming towards us. The food served here is American French bistro styled food. The food he serves is well prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. They offer a Pre-Fix and an À La Carte menus. They provide great options for all people to enjoy. They offer charcuterie boards for the table to enjoy. One very popular dish they serve is the Frenchie Burger with is black Angus beef, pork belly confit red wine braised short rib roasted tomato, raclette cheese arugula, and black pepper bun french fries. It is so rich and delicious. If you are a burger lover or even not you need to try this. It's flavor combination is perfect. The french fries are perfect. The iconic side dish that everyone has is made so well here.
Overall the food is great and the restaurant is great! It is a great place for a special occasion because the prices are a little pricier, but still affordable. It is a little noisy for young children, but perfect for a night with friends. There is also outdoor seating. I hope you try it and enjoy it!
